One of the most scenic rides I've done is Highway 20 in Washington. This is the northern section of what the locals call the North Cascade Loop. The mountains are locally called the "American Alps", and though I've never seen the Alps, they'd have to go some to beat the scenery of the northern Cascades. Anyone visiting the area who wants company for this ride, just give me a shout.
